Christianity Today published an article entitled, “Want to Change the World? Sponsor a Child”. In it world economists provided a definitive argument for the benefits of child sponsorship. They gave a ‘big picture’ look at world conditions and how positive change comes about. I would like you to look at a smaller picture of real change. I’m talking about participating in something where you actually get to see the change take place.
When you sponsor a student at New Hope Opportunities, you have an impact on them, their family and their community. You can actually help to break the cycle of poverty. Sponsorships can help a preschooler through primary school student at Hope School, a youth in Hope Hight School, or a young person or adult attending Hope Vocational Technical Institute. With your help we are able to change their lives both now and in the future. Your sponsorship helps them excel and move forward in life.

By sponsoring one of our children, youth or adult students enrolled in our education programs you allow them to receive a quality educational experience or training and hands-on experience with various types of job skills. Much of the cycle of poverty that exists in Honduras is because of the lack quality education. Our schools give our students the opportunity to achieve their dreams. Your sponsorship can change the lives of a student and his or her family and our community.
