Hope Missions Ministry is the ministerial outreach of New Hope Opportunities. Included in the activities of this branch of the work in Honduras are Hope Kidz, El Garage, CHICO program, seminars for church leaders and all mission team activities such as medical brigades, evangelism events, food distribution, combined services with local churches and other humanitarian activities in Honduras.
IMPACT PROGRAMS
Hope Kidz is a once a month outreach for the children of our school and neighborhood. It is an opportunity for music, games, Bible stories and fun activities planned to show Gods love and plan for their lives. The children look forward to these events.
“Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge”. This is what Psalm 62:8 says and with this verse the Refuge was born. That is the heart of this program.
The Refuge is one of our programs and it birthed with the heart to give our students a place they could come and open up, like we do with God our father. Where they could come to talk about the things they can’t talk about in their homes or with their friends. Where they can ask questions about adolescence and where they can find the true heart and love of Jesus.
MISSIONS TRIP
Experience New Hope Opportunities first hand on a 7-10 day missions trip. As a missionary at New Hope Opportunities, you will have the opportunity to get involved in some of our classes and activities. You will work alongside of our staff helping with some of their daily activities or doing some light maintenance. You will be able to participate in children’s ministry, youth and adult activities, street evangelism, food distribution and church services. You will stay in one of our apartments and share great food prepared by our cooks. We have translators for non-Spanish speakers. You will be exposed to Honduran culture and look at the world through the eyes of a missionary. If you have a heart to serve Christ, this is your opportunity. We have been organizing mission trips to Honduras for over 10 years. We organize trips for groups with a minimum of 10 participants. You can come as a group from your church or join another team to meet the minimum 10 team members. It will be a life changing experience for you.
